The mind reacts marvellously to questions. It goes down passages that often have been long neglected – especially at a time such as the present, when some of the brightest passages have had their doors locked.

So here’s a question for you to think about, and ANSWER :

What is a small, but wonderful, thing in your life at the moment?

Ask your friends. Ask your family. And listen to their answers. Give them the gift of appreciating their time to think.

For me, a small, but wonderful, thing in my life at the moment is the blanket I’m crocheting for my granddaughter which is nearing completion. I only crochet once I’m done with my daily work – so, normally an hour or two in the evenings – but the blanket is looking bright and beautiful, and I’m really excited about sending it to her. It’ll be just too late for her second birthday on Monday, but I hope she’ll treasure it for the rest of her life.

What’s yours?
