All too often, when you ask for feedback – “How did I do?” – you’ll get a whitewash response – “Great. You were great.”

It doesn’t help. I have no Launchpad from which to grow.

If I ask “How did I do?”, I really want to know. I want to hear honest, constructive feedback from someone who understands that, often, we really can’t improve unless we know exactly where we’re lacking. If you tell me, I can work on my offering. I will know what I didn’t know.

But, as long as I don’t know what I don’t know, I’ll go on making the same mistakes. Until an honest friend gives me honest feedback.
